Jefferson County carries worker's compensation insurance through KWORCC. This is a insurance pool composed of Kansas Counties as members.
If you are hurt on the job notify your supervisor immediately!
They have packets of information and the number to call to report your injury. If you are unable to contact your supervisor, call 1-800-288-6732. Tell them you work for Jefferson County and have been hurt on the job. If you go directly to the emergency room or the doctor's office remember to tell them you were hurt on the job.
